It was around 4:00 p.m yesterday afternoon While I was teaching my students at a tutoring class ,My cell phone rang ,an old student of mine's voice at the other line said Hello to me ,She has been living in the USA since last year .Her voice seemed very strong and warm ,She invited me to have breakfast next morning at a famous coffee shop that my students came many times before .I accepted her invitation And promised I will be there tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m .
I got up early as usual this morning to check mail and write something into my blog and then I went to the Church to take part in Sunday mass .After finihed Sunday mass I rode to photo studio to would have developed some pictures that my wife took some days ago then I rode straight to the coffee shop that my old student invited me there . WoW ! it was too crowded this morning ,there were too many motorbikes in front of the coffee shop ,all three parking spaces were full of motorbikes it was too difficult to find a space for mine and my old student and her friends .I have never seen this situation at a coffee shop before ,What amazing day !
We got into the shop ,but it was too hard to find a table ,the ground floor was full of customers ,we went around to find ,but it was very fortunately ,finaly ,customers at one of tables at the ground floor left the shop and we took it to sit .
Honestly to say ,scenery around the shop is very romantic ,all tables were decorated in a circle space around the eyes that intermingle with plants made us to have a wonderful and quiet place to relax and enjoy a peaceful space ,quietness was the attractive element everyone came with this shop ,even though the prices are a little bit expensive here !
There wasn't any change in my student appearance ,It is still only a little bit sexy in her T-shirt with a bit talkative of old days ,we were four of all ,two my old students and one of her friend whose luxury clothes and jewelry made me to think she was a rich one whom It seemed I didn't know her before ,During the time we had breakfast there ,she talked almost the time, story by story she told us , It was the time for listening to stories from her anyway !
We left the coffee shop after I had some words in English to her American husband by recording them into her expensive camara ,we have been best friends since he made friend then fell in love with my student .He is a little bit overweight but he is a lovely and honest man ,due to his overweight he became passive and sleepy all the time. Anyway he was a good manner man , loyal and he loved his wife very much but there was a bit jealous when his wife contact with her male friends .Before leaving the shop she reminded me coming to her house to take part in a reception party with her old music band members at 7:00 p.m .I promised I will join their get-together this evening .
It is 4;00 p.m now ,I have to prepare something to join the get-together ...
It was covering by gray clouds ,cool breeze rushed into this apratment made the air became easier ...
It started raining ,my wife felt a bit worried ... suddenly my cell phone rang At the others my student's voice asked me if I was ready for my departure to her brother's house ,so even though it was raining but I had to wear the raincoat(my wife reminded me ) to ride straight to the appointment place .It took me about twenty minutes to reach the place because I lost my way ,I didn't know which lane to turn to her brother's house ,I had to ask many people to get there .
I accompanied her and two friends of her to other friend's house then waited for some more people We got to the restaurant around 8:30 p.m .All of us went into a small room where we will sing karaoke and have some drink during the get-together .
During almost three hours of singing ,It seemed everybody of us at least sang one or two songs .For me ,I hesitated if I could sing a song ,after a long time of choice I decided to sing the song "Long Me" but unfortunately that song was used for "Co nhac " only ,thus I had to stop after some sentences .However ,I sang two songs in English "The silent Night " I got 100 points " and " Beautiful Sunday " got 98 points .In brief ,I was the only one got the highest points during the Get-together .We finished at 11;30 p.m then back to one of her friend's house to have hot rice cake "Banh Cuon nong " then we said good bye each other at midnight .
My wife was very worried about me because this is the first time I went out too late my daughter called me twice and my wife once ,she was so worried that she had to take flashlight downstairs to wait for me .I was very surprised when I met her in front of the hostel with a flashlight in her hand I felt broken-hearted so much and felt emotional very much toward her attitude and I loved her very much !
At the last minutes of the get- together ,one of my student's friend complimented me many times for my choice .As he said I chose the song "Beautiful Sunday " song to finished the get-together was the most meaningful song for the reunion party ,It was unforgetable beautiful Sunday of friendship after one year to have been lived apart !

Unforgetable Sunday June 1st ,2008

It was a very early morning ,I have got up as usual ,while I was surfing on network I suddenly clicked " inbox " ,an E- mail came from a friend of mine , after reading his mail ,I chose the title for my writing :" Here it comes ,my long await happiness " as he supposed even though my expectation is still out of my arm's reach !
People said human lived upon their hopes and dreams ,Hope brings excitement and fun to everybody who is passing through their unluckiness and disappointment .They feel relaxed and easeful to lengthen their lives until they can overcome their difficulty .Hope also brings chances for miserable people to remove unfortunateness from their lives .
Everyone hopes their children will get to success during their lives ,each footstep will be a solid foundation of their career in the future ,they invested all property into their children's studies for a bright future and glorious ending of their studies .
Happiness of student's parents will get to the peak-peak when their children overcame the long and hard journey of knowledge after a series of long await days the result of their investment .That happiness will be the most valuable when their children obtained their great achievements .
My daughter is one of them ,who got to the peak of the victory when she obtained the third prize of excellent student whom good at English subject of province level , she also the 12-year-excellent- student of her school .And she has finished her junior and senior high chool successfully by her final exam ,our hope became true ,our investment has got great result ,here it comes, our long await happiness ! Our happiness got to the peak of victory after our long await years !


Summer 2008

June 1st

Time went too quickly ,Two months has been passed since we met each other again after nearly thirty five years of living apart ,I have been very surprised when my wife and I visited him the first time at his brother's home ,the old house that I had ever come many times before he left it .I felt a little bit sad when we faced to faced each other in his own small room ,with a slim body and gray hair in slow and tired gesture ,he told me about his miserable love story after he and his wife have divorced and his plight during the period of time he went away !
We have contacted with each other again suddenly ,It was a nice surprise when I had his unexpected mail , our old relationship has been started again since then ,we send mails to each other everyday to tell about our own plights and remind our old memories when we were younger .Through his mails and many times we met in person during two months I recognized that his sense of humor is still existing in his heart , more over he is a generous ,humble and charitable people .He always helps the people who meet much difficulty in their lives ,he was ready to help the poor and handicapped in any situation he knows .I didn't know how much money he had ,but if anyone met difficulty in their lives he was ready to come and help even though he has been responsible for his brother's family since their parents passed over .Honestly to say he has been a humble and kind-hearted people ,but unfortunately for him ,he has been being borne unhealable disease ,all day and all night it caused him painfulness both body and mind ,Oh my God ,it was unfair to force him bearing that painfulness Please remove this disease from that generous man !
Since the day I knew he had been in serious condition ,I came to visit him every week we had free time ,of course on Sunday only due to my busy life ,and it seemed that from the date his disease turned into serious until nowaday he hesitated and avoided appearing in public places and Stay in all the time even though he promised coming to visit us he still couldn't do it. What a pity of him !
The date he returns to The USA is coming very near ,my family wants to treat him a simple farewell lunch before he leaves here together our former friends and it is also the last get-together before say good bye each other after nearly thirty five years we lived apart It will be very difficult to meet again in person ,thus we do hope the last get-together in person will be kept in our heart forever and ever even though wherever we live and any plight during our lives .I think this Sunday ,June 15th ,will be the most beautiful and emotiomnal because it will be the last chance for us to talk and see each other in person and share what we couldn't tell before everyone of us goes to another huge spaces of two poles of the globe .
Dear my Buddy ,before we make our last farewells ,Thanks very much for your helps to my family during your stay here ,we never forget what you have done for my family ,I am very terribly sorry I couldn't have much free time to come with your during your disease turned worse but in our heart your image won't be forgotten and faded .God Bless you ! Peace in your heart ! and have a good trip my Buddy ! Come to share the last happy and unhappy stories of our lives before we say good bye each other with the most wonderful sentiment of our friendship !

Dear my beloved Daughter ,
Two more days will be the date you must take part in the final examination of your senior high school and one more month will be university entrance exams .I understand your hardships because I have gone through many exams since I was a student ,I tried my best to pass them and got to my aim I think you have enough patience and effort to pass them too my beloved daughter !
For your future ,you must focus your mind to collect knowledge for your exams ,I think you can pass your exams easily if you study hard .Through 12 years' results I think you will pass your final exam easily but for the university entrance exams you must study harder because as you know students' qualification and knowledge in small provinces are lower than that in Saigon ,thus if you compete with them you will be defeated, so if you want to be a winner you should study harder and must understand completely your lessons that you have studied for last three years of senior high school .
My daughter ,you must know that it is the only way for you to continue your studies in the University ,and it is the lowest level for anyone wants to have a stable job in the future ,that means you must have at least the Degree of Bachelor or upper ,the more higher level of education and Degree the more good chance and good luck for you to get a good job in the future .I believe in your effort and I put my hope upon your studies . Your Mom and I always follow and search for each step of the progress in your studies ,God bless and watch over you during your life ,my beloved daughter !!!

On my daughter's final examination

It is a sunny day today even though rainy season started one month ago .After came back from Sunday mass ,I took my wife to a supermarket around 10km from our apartment ,On the way to supermarket a great idea appeared in my mind : A birthday present on her 56th birthday May 30th ,a silver chain ,I kept in my mind this wonderful idea until we got to supermarket ...
The way to supermarket seems longer than other days ,I felt my old motorbike didn't run as fast as before ,after 30 minutes of ride we got the supermarket .I rushed into and went straight to jewelry stall .there were a lot of items to choose ,but they were too short to my wife's appearance , we agreed each other to go back to the store next to our apartment to have a look ,then if can we will buy a silver chain relatively suit her Finally I could buy an Italy-made silver chain as the present for her 56th birthday ! Her face appeared a merry and happy mood when she accepted this present from me .honestly to say ,since I married her I haven't gifted her any valuable present due to our condition was very poor and met much difficulty during our lives .She understood our plight thus she has never wanted to buy any expensive item . moreover she has been living a very simple lifestyle She told me she didn't like wearing jewelry because she was afraid of thieves She said they didn't only steal your jewelry but also killed you ,for her ,she didn't want to leave me too early ,so she hasn't worn jewelry to be killed and left me alone .Anyway that was a great idea !
My Darling ,your 56th birthday is coming ,but our lives still meet much difficulty , thus I don't have any valuable gift for you that day ,I only can afford to gift you a silver chain on your 56th birthday ,please accept it as my gratefulness for your helps during the years we have been living together my Darling !!!
